Location–Adams Gap
Back to the Pinhoti Outdoor Center again this morning. Kimm is shuttling me today–up to Adams Gap. I’ll be hiking southbound to Porters Gap.
Pack up, I’m on trail a bit after eight. In moments, coming toward me a familiar, happy face–it’s Emi! So good to see you again Emi, and to know your hike is going great!
Kimm stays close by to check on me. She first hikes in from Clairmont Gap in the morning (with lunch), then from Chandler Springs in the afternoon. I think she’s concerned about my getting through a notorious section called the Rock Garden. But the old jitney just hummed right along today and the (long) hike went great!
Our body is a machine for living.
