My antibiotics Rx was called into the pharmacy in Kingfield. Looks to be around a 45-minute round trip. I’m in luck once more. Rebecca, Appalachian Trail Ridgerunner in the Bigelow Preserve, suffered an injury recently, and while recuperating, has volunteered to help out here at Hostel of Maine. Ahh, and she’s offered to do the run to Kingfield and pick up my prescription–thanks, Rebecca!
Doctor Conrad advised me to take three days off and give the antibiotics time to work, and I’ll heed her advice. Justin has reserved “my” bunk for me. So, I’ll be hanging out here at Hostel of Maine the remainder of today and tomorrow, taking my meds and resting.
Healing requires from us not to stop struggling,
but to enjoy life more and endure it less.
