Very nice! I walked the Oregon Trail in 1996. I used a baby jogger to carry my backpack…it made the difficult journey much easier! I was constantly reminded how wonderful Americans are: they were always kind, quick to offer a cold drink, a sandwich and a place to set up my tent at night.
Nimblewill,
Thank you for sharing this wonderful article about yourself. I will always remember and cherish meeting you a few years ago at the Backpacking Arkansas gathering at Shady Lake in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. May God and his angels continue to watch over you as you continue this journey of life.
Respectfully yours,

Spectacular article and great reading. I someday wish to see the long pondering trail laid out it front of me like you have so many a day.
